Easy Yarn Spiderweb Decoration

1 min read

Leftover yarn from that hobby you tried for a week? Turn it into a giant spiderweb for your porch or doorway.

Time: 20 minutes · Level: Easy

What you need

  • Yarn in white, black or any spooky color

  • Scissors

  • Tape or removable hooks

  • Optional: a pipe-cleaner or bead spider

How to make it

  1. Tape 4 strands of yarn across your doorway or window so they cross in the middle like a star.

  2. Tie a new strand near the center and spiral outward, wrapping it once around each strand as you go.

  3. Keep spiraling, making each loop a little wider than the last.

  4. Tie off the end on an outer strand.

  5. Add a spider in a corner of the web.

Make it WhatEves

Glow-in-the-dark yarn or a strand of string lights woven through makes it pop at night.

Made one? Post it with #MakeWhatEvesHalloween and tag @make_whateves for a chance to win a custom name tote and pins.
