Googly-Eye Monster Hoodie: A Last-Minute Costume
No costume? No problem. Grab any hoodie and your googly-eye stash, and you're a monster in under 30 minutes.
Time: 20–30 minutes · Level: Easy
What you need
A hoodie or sweatshirt (any color)
Googly eyes in mixed sizes, as many as you have
Fabric glue or a hot glue gun
Optional: felt for horns, teeth or spikes
How to make it
Lay the hoodie flat and put a piece of cardboard inside so glue doesn't soak through.
Start with the biggest eyes on the hood, then scatter smaller ones everywhere.
Glue them in clusters. A crowd of eyes is creepier than an even pattern.
Optional: cut felt triangles for horns or teeth and glue them along the hood.
Let it dry for at least an hour before wearing.
